A letter from the Sigma Psi Chapter's President-

I would like to begin by sharing with you a little bit about our sorority. Four young women with great vision founded Kappa Delta on October 23, 1897 at the State Female Normal School in Farmville Virginia.

Today, Kappa Delta is a national sorority that has more than 215,000 members. Kappa Delta is committed to making great things happen in women’s lives, on campuses and in communities across the country. Kappa Delta inspires its members to reach their potential by offering opportunities for leadership, personal development, academic success and community service, all in the context of true friendship.  Kappa Delta is committed to inspiring all members to lead a values-based life and become a woman of greatness. The principles and ideals upon which our organization was founded are ingrained in everything we do as a sorority, and our members and chapter programs reflect those values. Kappa Deltas strive to live G-R-E-A-T! Great is an acronym for:  Growth through lifetime learning, Responsibility for our own integrity and ethical actions, Engagement in social and civic interests, Altruistic service to others, and Truth and loyalty to each other.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about this fabulous organization!

Yours truly,

Katy Critser

President
